St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Garfield, Minnesota, is seeking a Senior Pastor to preach the Word, lead worship, and shepherd our congregation as we reach the Alexandria Lakes community with the hope of Jesus Christ.

We are in that season now. We are praying for a pastor who will lead us deeper into God’s Word, faithfully in worship, and outward into our community. We believe the pastor God is preparing may already be connected to someone who loves this church. That person may be you.

WHO WE ARE
A congregation grounded in Scripture and shaped by faithful worship
St. Luke’s began in 1869 and has carried out faithful ministry in Garfield ever since. We are a Lutheran congregation in the Alexandria Lakes area of west central Minnesota, affiliated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. As God has blessed us, we seek to be a blessing to others, worshiping, learning, serving, and laughing together as one body in Christ.
WHO WE ARE PRAYING FOR
A pastor to lead us deeper into the Word and outward in mission
We are praying for a Senior Pastor who will:
- Preach and teach God’s Word in a way that is Bible-centered, faithful, and applicable to everyday life
- Lead worship with reverence and faithfully administer the Sacraments
- Shepherd the congregation with pastoral care across all seasons of life
- Make disciples through Bible study, small groups, and spiritual formation for all ages
- Lead us in carrying out the Great Commission and reaching our neighbors with the Gospel
- Equip and release members and leaders for ministry rather than carry it alone
