Spiritual gifts are the way God organizes the living body of Christ. To become aware of your gifts is to know where you fit in Kingdom work and where you will find greatest fulfillment.

There are various views of which gifts should be included in a list for the Kingdom today and which gifts should not be included. This profile uses all those gifts (a) listed in the New Testament and (b) accepted by some scholars.

Christians today will accept with joy and thanksgiving any gift the Spirit may choose to give for the purpose of building up the Kingdom. The body of Christ, therefore, cannot reject outright the possibility that God may endow some in the Kingdom with the same abilities and powers He gave the early church.

Pray. Ask God to guide you with a clear mind and an open heart. This is a spiritual reflection exercise to help you be a better manager of the special gifts God has given you.
