Becca Shrom

Administrative Support

Becca grew up in central Pennsylvania, but her family moved to Ohio when she was in seventh grade. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Findlay with the hopes of becoming a veterinarian, but God had slightly different plans. After starting to work toward a master’s degree in biology, God changed her path and first opened the doors for her to work at a church denomination office, where she worked with missionaries all over the world. She also coordinated mission teams and had the opportunity to serve on teams to Haiti, Kenya, and California. Later, God opened the doors for her to become a registered veterinary technician and work full-time in a veterinary clinic. She enjoys being able to invest in the lives of people through her God-given gifts of working with animals. Becca joined Church Doctor Ministries part-time in 2022 to help with administrative tasks.

In her spare time, she enjoys dabbling in all sorts of things: reading, art, gardening, video games, visiting local parks, and spending time with her cats. She also co-leads a life group and serves on the Welcome Team at her church. Becca lives in Findlay, Ohio.

Jason Atkinson joined the team in October 2005 and serves as the Ministry Leadership Support, and Assistant to Founder. Prior to serving with Church Doctor Ministries, Jason graduated from Huntington University with a B.A. in Mass Communication.

In his spare time, he is an active member and serves on a worship team at his church, St. Joseph UMC, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
