Registration for Scattered & Sent: A Microchurch Immersion closes September 1. If you have been considering it, here is a clear picture of what four days in Muncie, Indiana, this October will actually involve.
You will step inside a living microchurch network.
The Garden is not a concept to be discussed. It is a community of real people gathered in homes and neighborhood spaces, living out a sent ecclesiology in a real Midwestern city. You will be among them, not observing from a comfortable distance. You will meet the people, hear their stories, and experience firsthand what it means to belong to a community where everyone is known, everyone is sent, and everyone has a genuine role in the mission.
You will have conversations you have not been able to have anywhere else.
The questions that surface inside an immersion experience are different from the ones that get asked in a conference breakout. When you are standing in the middle of a working model, the abstract becomes concrete and the theoretical becomes personal. You will be able to ask directly: What did this require? What surprised you? What would you do differently? What does leading this kind of community actually cost? Those conversations will carry more weight than any session you have attended in years.
You will learn from 45 years of church coaching.
Church Doctor Ministries will provide teaching and facilitation throughout the immersion, connecting what you observe at The Garden to broader missiological frameworks for sent-ness, disciple multiplication, and church revitalization. This is not generic church leadership content. It is coaching built specifically for leaders who are navigating the tension between maintenance and mission and looking for a credible, theologically grounded path forward.
You will leave with a next step and a coach.
Every participant receives a follow-up coaching session with a Church Doctor Ministries coach after the immersion ends. You will not return home alone, trying to translate a profound experience into a concrete next step without support. You will have someone to process with, to help you apply what you learned to your specific context, and to hold you accountable to what you decide to do next.
